Saville Row began in 2003 when Troy Luccketta, drummer for Tesla, introduced Mika Greiner, former lead vocalist with west-coast band Redline 5, to Marc Bonilla, a very prominent guitarist/composer within the Los Angeles music community. Mika and Marc spent two years writing material in their spare time and brought in Troy to handle drums and help with the recording and demo process.
The trio, wanting to expand to a full band, recruited two new members to complete the line-up. After an exhaustive search they found bassist Travis Davis who had responded to a national ad, and L.A. guitarist Mike Wallace - Marc Bonilla's long-time Dragon Choir guitar mate.
Believing that hard work yields results, the newly-founded Saville Row has spent time together honing their chemistry, writing music, and preparing for release of their new record co-produced with Ryan Greene (Dishwalla), as well an electronic press kit (EPK) to be completed by August 2006.
The quintet has been rocking the Arizona area playing at shows such as Alice Cooper's Christmas Pudding, The Tempe Music Festival and are preparing for upcoming events slated for fall. Also, the band has recently been internationally featured on NBC's hit series Las Vegas with their ballad Hard To Let Go, which has resulted in a groundswell of reaction from viewers from coast to coast and overseas. The broad appeal of Saville Row's musicality and energetic live performance has generated a new flush of interest from both fans and the music industry in a short amount of time.
